2007 Bloggies
Thanks to everyone who put forward Gawker sites for the 2007 Bloggies. Twelve nominations. a record for us, for sites ranging from Gizmodo and Deadspin to Defamer and Lifehacker. The awards are given out in March, at South By Southwest, in Austin, Texas. Win or lose, we’re throwing a big party.

Gawker Media’s a private company, and we don’t give out financial results, but we’ve always been transparent about traffic. So here’s the annual report. According to Comscore, US monthly uniques for Gawker sites combined went from 1.6m in December 2005 to 3.7m visitors in December 2006.
